MicroScape is an educational outreach project hosted by Nestor Zaluzec and is intended to allow individuals to
conduct microscopic examination of selected specimens utlizing a computer as a "Virtual Microscope".
To accomplish this, we have employed both conventional as well as atomic resolution microscopes, to record and store a series of digital images of selected materials. These images can be interactively accessed from within a Web Browser window using customized software developed in the EM Center.
Use the control panel buttons on the right to explore a portion of the MicroScape of our world by choozing a Specimen from our Library
